Workflow: parallel or sequential

Multiple signers in a clear order or simultaneously – your choice.

  • Parallel: all signers can sign concurrently
  • Sequential: defined order (e.g., customer → service manager)
  • Status lifecycle: draft → sent → in_progress → completed/expired/canceled
  • Reminders with throttling against spam
  • Expiry date per request

Fields directly on the PDF

Place fields visually on the page – no need to prepare external templates.

  • Signature (drawing pad)
  • Initials
  • Text (e.g., address)
  • Date (auto-filled)
  • Checkbox (e.g., terms accepted)

Sending & reminders

Emails are sent through your own CATAMA user account – or via a central DMS mail address.

  • Per-user SMTP credentials
  • Optional central send address for the DMS
  • Throttling for sending and reminders
  • Status “awaiting send” / “sent” / “opened”

Verify & download

Signed documents are uniquely verifiable and available for audit-proof download.

  • Verification page per signature (publicly accessible with token)
  • Download of the signed PDF with embedded audit attachment
  • Hash verify as proof of integrity
  • Status timeline visible inside the DMS
Tamper protection

Hash chain for evidence.

Each event (sent, opened, signed, completed) is cryptographically linked to the previous one. Any change to the audit trail would be immediately detectable.

The hash chain is signed with the app key. If any record were modified, every subsequent hash would become inconsistent – instantly visible during verification.

GDPR-compliant

Personal data stays in your hosting setup. No data transfer to third countries.

Mobile signing

Recipients sign directly in their mobile browser – no app installation.

Multilingual
